AppsMy trip was amazing-- /so/ much better than the last time. The amount I have learned since then astonishes me, and the difference it makes traveling with friends (not to mention being much more secure in who I am, so it wouldn't have even mattered if I'd been with already-established friends) is really amazing. I loved it. I loved the people, I loved the food (Henan cuisine=WIN-- give me spicy food any day! I was the only person in my group who ate anything-- everyone would be sitting around starving while I was stuffing my face. Ahaha. They do say spicy food is good for you, after all. ;]
Anyway, pictures will be coming soon, when I find the patience! I did manage to get some pretty good ones despite the crappiness of my camera... Oh, god, Guilin and Yangshuo are beautiful. As cool as the cities were, they held nothing to the rural areas and the bike ride we had through the middle of the mountains. PURE LOVE. <3 I made a lot of friends, learned kung-fu at the Shaolin Temple, and really just reveled in learning how much I've grown.
I mean, I know I have a long way to go before I'm not an idiot teenager, but if you knew me three years ago, you'd know I've come a long way. And I owe it all to those crazy people known as Quad. <3 Thank you.
Annnyway, college applications are coming up-- three essays down, ten to go. Whoo!
I can't wait to get back to school. Oh my god, it will be the last time. O_O Well, I'm finally making it for the infamous water polo pre-season lake swim-- I'll be the only girl there.
